The War Memorials
The war memorials were all very sobering. There's something moving about seeing names listed out, statues of soldiers, and flowers next laid next to the memorials that really drives home what a sacrifice was made for us and our country's freedoms.
World War II
Korean War
Vietnam
I think the Vietnam Memorial was my favorite. It is so simple and basic and it lets the names of the fallen soldiers really come through. I left feeling very grateful for all those men and women who have served and are serving so that I can continue to enjoy so many wonderful freedoms.
