At The Beach

The afternoon of Weston's birthday we headed to one of the beaches in San Clemente, CA. The weather was really great - not warm enough to really swim (despite what Tyler tried to say!!), but plenty warm enough to enjoy the sand and to dip your toes in the water. I would love to head back again sometime when the weather is warmer and just hang out all day at the beach (hint. hint.... =D)

We grabbed some grub at Tyler's parents' hotel room before leaving...

Weston wasn't too sure of the sand at first. I believe he actually said, "Uck!" when we first set him in the sand. He quickly changed his mind and thought the sand was pretty cool.

Love our "little" man - it's amazing how much he's grown this past year!

He was fascinated by the water... didn't really want to go in, just liked looking at it.

Then Weston discovered all of the rocks... and then the sand became less cool. Rocks trump all!

We all had a great time at the beach - and it was especially special since we were able to take Weston for his birthday.

I'm already scheming to figure out a way for us to go back!! =D
