Today in nursery I was filling in for one of the leaders who had to head home to be with her two sick kids. Weston surprised me when he sat down to color his picture and started writing his name. He wrote the 'W' and the 'e' all on his own, then asked me what letter came next. I told him the following four letters and he wrote them out all on his own. I was amazed as I sat there and watched him do it. Weston has never really liked to color or draw, so learning to write letters and numbers has been especially difficult because he hasn't built up the dexterity. So seeing him write his name out was an extra special moment for me.
