A few days before Christmas Eve my brother Todd who lives in Seattle called all of his Boise siblings to let us know that he was flying home the morning of the 24th to surprise my mom for Christmas. Considering he hadn't been back since he left over 3 years ago - shortly after I had Weston, and that this was also how long my mom had gone without seeing him, we knew it was going to be a great surprise! I had plans with Tyler's family on Christmas Eve night, and my sister had plans with her in laws that night, so it made sense for our side of the family to get together for lunch that afternoon (I had to unfortunately miss out this year on the wonderful lunch that Tyler's grandparents have every Christmas Eve). My sister made reservations for all of us to meet at Kona Grill in the Village and it worked out perfectly. Kevin picked Todd up from the airport and then made sure they arrived at the restaurant a little after the rest of us had already been seated. When my brothers showed up at our table my mom freaked out.....I have never heard that noise come out of her before! She was hugging Todd so tight and was squealing like the happiest little school girl. The whole restaurant was looking over at us to see what was going on. Lol. She was definitely surprised! Good work brother! =)
