It's a few days late, but since we were out of town over Weston's actual birthday, I wasn't able to upload the video til we were back home. This past year has gone by far too quickly - I remember Weston's first birthday so vividly, it's hard to believe it was a year ago already.
Looking back over all the pictures and videos of Weston from this past year it isn't hard to see how much he's grown and changed. He is definately no longer a baby - and he is already showing signs of entering the "terrific" twos. I want to start a tradition of asking Weston the following questions every year on his birthday - and see how much is answers change... or stay the same. Since he couldn't answer them this year - we filled them in, but I think we are pretty spot on. =D
1. What is your favorite color? We think green - he always reaches for his green shirts to wear and green is the color he always chooses for his popsicle.
2. What is your favorite toy? Any type of ball. Books are also a favorite.
3. What is your favorite fruit? Pears... although grapes and watermelon are coming close behind.
4. What is your favorite tv show? Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Jake and the Neverland Pirate, and Little Einsteins.
5. What is your favorite thing to eat for lunch? Whatever is on mommy and daddy's plate - but you love hot dogs, mac n cheese, and bread and butter.
6. What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast? Nutri-Grain bar
7. What is your favorite game? Is making a mess a game!?!? Cause you really like that... =D You love it when mommy or daddy chase you around the house or yard.
8. What is your favorite snack? "snacks" - aka fruit snacks
9. What is your favorite animal? Probably puppies since he can't go to bed without his stuffed puppy
10. What is your favorite song? "ABC's"
11. What is your favorite book? Goodnight Moon, ABC by Dr. Seuss, The Little Engine That Could
12. Who is your best friend? Mommy and Daddy of course... ;D - you also love playing with Jace at the babysitter's house.
13. What is your favorite cereal? Fruit Loops
14. What is your favorite thing to do outside? RUN!, play at the park
15. What is your favorite drink? Juice - any kind.
16. What is your favorite holiday? Don't think he knows what those are yet... but probably his birthday - who doesn't love their birthday?!
17. What do you like to take to bed with you at night? "gee-gee, puppy" (blanket and puppy)
18. What do you want for your birthday? Hopefully a hippity hop, a train set, and a tricycle - cause that's what we bought him.
19. What do you want for dinner on your birthday? Don't know if it's what he wanted, but we had Cafe Rio for dinner on his birthday
20. What do you want to be when you grow up? Happy Weston is a tender hearted, sweet, clever, sly, adventerous, persistant, dimpled little boy. He is observant and can be the life of the party. Weston has the funniest little dance and a love for learning. We are truly in awe that we get to call him ours. We really are the luckiest!!
