We did something different this year and we headed out bright and early to attend the Boise Christmas parade in downtown Boise. Even though the weather man said there wasn't a chance of rain til late afternoon/evening - he was wrong. There were a few raindrops as we waited for the parade to start and by the middle of the parade it really started to rain. The mixture of freezing rain and a somewhat disappointing parade line up drove us to packing it up a little over half way through the parade. (All I'm saying is: what kind of parade doesn't have any marching bands in it?!?! What is that about?!) It was definitely an experience and the cold weather certainly shocked us into the winter time mood. After the parade we were all pretty wet and cold so we stopped by Kneaders on our way home to get some warm drinks and hot soup to help warm us up. It was a fun morning - albeit a tad bit freezing.
