My mom, sister and I all got together and made loads of delicious, butter filled, calorie laden goodies: peanut butter balls, caramels, peanut clusters, and caramel popcorn. Nothing says holidays to me like caramels and peanut butter balls. The past couple years I have really enjoyed learning how to make all the wonderful treats - our family doesn't have many material possessions to pass on from generation to generation, but we do have our recipes. And this year was even more special as I was able to share it with Weston. I loved watching him get excited and I even liked it that he begged for some "tandy"(candy). I hope candy making at Grandma's becomes a treasured memory for all our kids.
