Weston loves to play. He is just all over the place these days. He is climbing and sneaking his way into/onto everything these days. It is such a fun stage! I love watching him learn a new thing and then to see him remember it the next day.
He is really starting to enjoy TV - which is a good and bad thing. He loves to have it on and will point tot he TV and start jabbering - usually looking for the remote. Often times he'll walk into the family room, see the TV off, and will walk up to us in the next room with the remote. He get so excited when he sees my push the 'On' button on the remote and will start walking right up to the TV, pointing at it and jabbering away.
Weston has really started showing an interest in books. Up until now I would read books to him as he played around on the floor, occasionally looking over my shoulder at the pictures. Now he brings the books to me and then proceeds to wiggle his way onto my lap. It is one of my favorite things he does/has done to date. He definitely has his favorite books and I honestly read those ones from memory. His favorite thing to do is turn the pages... sometimes he doesn't always let me finish the page I'm on before turning the page.
Weston loves to play. And run around (it's more like toddling... not quite running yet).
This is what being chased by a 14 month old looks like... I told ya, the little man is picking up speed.
He's too cute.
"Mom, you're embarrassing me."
It took Weston .5 seconds to conquer the ottoman.
This picture shows two things: 1. Weston's Aborigine stance... seriously - how do little babies sit like that? 2. Weston's ever growing mullet... It's getting out of control.
It has been such a fun week. Weston is growing a lot lately - as evident by him sleeping more than normal. He's also growing more teeth - he's actually growing his 1st molars on top. He's looking older and older by the day.
We love you Weston. Your smile and laughter makes our day!
